is it possible to access the initial conditions of the simulations from within the JupyterLab workspace? I can only find the snapshots.

Yes you should see these in the output directory of every run, they are called snap_ics.hdf5.

I see. They are in the output of the baryonic runs. Not of the Dark counterparts, which is where I was looking...
