I have noted that the computed method of the gas temperature in the FAQ. The hydrogen mass fraction is set to 0.76 for all particles. However, with the field GFM_Metals, can't we get the correct value for every particle?
Yes this is true, GFM_Metals[0] contains a better estimate of X_H, but (i) note that this is a correction at the level of <1%, and (ii) this field is available only in full (not mini) snapshots.
