Is there any visualization tools for IllustrisTNG data?

I want to use TNG data to create some 2D slice and projection plots for specific coordinates. For projection, I want to it can integrate the requested field along a line of sight, given by the axis parameter.

Hi Qin Peng,
The Visualize Galaxies and Halos page does this, the functionality is also available through the API. I'd recommend you check it out for a first look, and also to cross reference against anything else you do.
If you want to work on local data, or e.g. on the entire box (not on halos), I would recommend any of the software you might find my googling "visualize sph simulation astronomy". You could try Py-SPHViewer, or yt, or Splash, etc.

I don't see that this is actually public (I've never used it myself), you'd have to contact the author and ask more about it.
